My Skills audit at the beginning of A2
I currently rate my ability in the creative use of the following technical skills as:

I set myself these technical skills targets, when I begin the A2 Coursework:
1. Select an appropriate use of mise-en-scene and making it clear to the audience
2. When editing I should make sure everything is continuous and sync e.g. music/sound effects, to make the point apparent to the audience
3. Use a variety of shot transitions to keep viewer attention and convey meaning appropriately
4. Edit with the appropriate sound effects and music apparent to the scene
I currently rate my ability to research and analyse media texts as follows:

I set myself these research targets, when I begin my A2 coursework:
1. I need to be able to use my research appropriately when applying it to my coursework
2. I need to expand further into the evaluation of the research that I have gathered using the appropriate media text
3. I need to gather suitable research material for the given task
4. I need to insure that I understand the information that I have gathered without merely regurgitating what I found with no means of comprehending the text
I currently rate my ability to plan my own A2 coursework as follows:

1. I need to manage my time better during filming
2. When faced with a problem during filming I shouldn’t immediately lose faith and look for a way to overcome it
3. My shooting script could be more detailed by including the time management of each shot
4. I should always have understudies to my cast and crew encase someone is unable to proceed with filming
I currently rate my ability to evaluate my own A2 coursework as follows:

I set myself these evaluation targets when starting my A2 coursework, as follows:
1. I need to ask the audience clearer questions that will be of benefit to the filming and evaluation of my coursework
2. I need to be able to link the codes and conventions I researched and adapt them to my coursework
3. I need to be able to clarify where I went wrong properly and why
4. When analysing my final product I need to be able to refer to the original treatment of the coursework and identify whether I produced what I intended
